The most solid cable I've pulled
I have switched to trueCABLE for all of our Ethernet pulling. Customers love the color choices, and we have had nothing but great success with the riser and plenum cables.
Q:Which RJ45 connector is compatible with this Unshielded Cat6A Riser Ethernet Cable? I bought a few different ones and this cable doesn’t fit any of them.

A:The best crimp-on RJ45 connector for this cable is our Cat6/6A Standard RJ45 Connector｜Unshielded. It uses a pass-through load bar assembly that greatly reduces crosstalk at the connector.

Q:Which Strain Relief Boot goes best with this product? (Cat6A Riser Unshielded)

A:Hello! The best fit boot would be one of our slip-on types. Be aware, however, that using these boots with high-density Ethernet switches may pose an issue with port interference. Essentially the boots, if slipped over the RJ45 connector, may take up more room than the Ethernet switch will allow for when plugging in other cables next to it. Therefore we suggest if you use this style of boot it be at the remote device end of the connection but not on the switch side. Q:I am doing a new build for my next house and looking for the correct type of cable to run between walls. I haven’t seen anything in here that states that your Cat6a riser spill is plenum rated. Is your product plenum rated? Do I even need my in-wall cable to be plenum rated? I live near San Antonio, TX, in case that helps. I haven’t been able to find any answers as far as code is concerned.

A:Hello!
Our Cat6A Unshielded Riser cable is riser rated. The cable jacket has a CMR designation. You do not need to use plenum rated Ethernet cable (CMP) inside any residential structure as plenum areas are found in commercial structures (typically multi-story office buildings). There is no local code that I am aware of that would require plenum rated cable to be used residentially.
