Unshielded Ethernet Cables
Unshielded Ethernet cable is the best general use option for installations that do not require additional protection from alien environmental, electrical, or radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI). We recommend our shielded Ethernet if you require the protection of a ground to avoid electrostatic discharge (ESD). Unshielded cable is known for its ease of termination, ability to handle tighter bends, and a high degree of self-shielding already built-in via the balanced twisted pairs. It represents a common choice for residential and a vast majority of commercial network cable installations. Unshielded Ethernet cable is available in Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A, 500 feet or 1000 feet lengths, and many color options.
