This is my #1 choice for coax prep for all the RG6 coax I deal with. Works great right out of the box. It has features for twisted pair that are quite useful if it's handy. Love the velcro braid comb for saving my fingers. Blades are individually replaceable, if necessary, but price is reasonable, so just get a new one when that time comes. Well designed, quality construction.

There are many cable strippers out there but this one works great for the price with the added bonus of being able to cut the cable as well. Cuts easily through shielded cable
Q:If we buy the V3 all in one tool, do we still need this for CAT6A termination?

A:Hello! You can use our V3 termination tool to replace the tasks this dedicated stripping and cutting tool performs (aside from coaxial cable stripping) assuming your Cat6A cable is 6.00 to 8.00mm overall diameter. That diameter range is what the V3 tool will handle for scoring the cable jacket for removal with the stripper, and cutter's maximum cable thickness it can handle is 8.00mm.

A:Hello. Outer jacket? That would depend upon the thickness of the outer jacket of the fiber cable. Our Cut & Strip tool is not designed for fiber, however. Our tool is aimed at coaxial and copper twisted pair communications cable. There are far more precise and appropriate tools designed to work with fiber.
