Our All-In-One Crimp and Termination Tool performs multiple functions simultaneously. Very little maintenance is required to keep your tool in top functioning condition. It will provide you many years of service.
This is a solid Cat6A solution. It strikes a nice balance between durability and still having some flex. I'm using this mostly in non-grounded solutions but wanted to have the shielding to help protect against random RF and to deter any pests as this is run through an open-access crawlspace with known rodent activity.

Cat6a large pass thru connectors
The Cat6a large pass thru connectors worked fine using Cat6 and Cat6a cable. The connections was easy using the pass-thru tools to make the final connections

Product worked as advertised and was of high quality
Q:Is anybody else having issues with these Cat6a XL connectors staying securely connected to their various network devices because i am. So far I've terminated about 20 cables using these TC XL connectors and NOT a single one will lock into any of my network devices. The ends never lock/securely connect and will slide right out with little to no strain/pull on the cable. Had it been just one device I could blame the device I'm attempting to connect the cable too but I've tried multiple brands/model inline keystone jacks as well as 7 different Ubiquiti AP's and the cable always slides right out. No amount of finagling or pressing down will get the end to stay connected and its incredibly frustrating. Is anybody else experiencing this issue? If so were you able to resolve it? We are sorry that you are having trouble while using our trueCABLE Cat6a XL Pass Through RJ45 Connectors. To answer your question, we have not received complaints similar to yours for this product. When looking at the Platinum Tools Web site, the page for the Platinum Tools 12515C Tele-Titan XG provides the following warning in the middle of the page printed in red:
"Tele-TitanXg™ Cat6A/10Gig Crimp Tool is only compatible with our RJ45 CAT6A 10Gig Shielded Connector. Please see related products."
It's important to us that you have a successful experience with our products. In this case, it looks like that will require either a different crimp tool or a different connector.

Q:Klein Tools VDV226-110 Wire Crimper / Wire Cutter / Wire Stripper Pass-Thru Modular All-in-One Tool for Video, Telecom, Datacom work with pass through connectors ? If not can you recommend one that will?
I am going to buy 10 rolls of the plenum cat 6a cable with the extra large connectors.

A:Hello, and thanks for your question. Normally, we would point you to our All-In-One Crimp and Termination Tool, but considering it is out of stock at the moment, this Klein crimper should work fine for trueCABLE brand unshielded RJ45 8P8C plugs, but be aware that this crimper does not get along with our Cat6/6A shielded external ground collar RJ45 plug.
