A:Hello! Based upon a 1.06mm insulated conductor diameter, we do make a larger pass-through connector called Cat6A XL Passthrough RJ45 Connector that will likely fit your cable. We also make a standard load bar version (Cat6/6A Standard Unshielded RJ45 Plug) that should work well too if you don't like passthrough connectors. Both types are very easy to use.

Q:I just bought a spool of cat6 utp cmp, and matching pass through connectors. I can not insert the cable into the connector.
I measured the conductors and all were 1.3mm. isn't that WAY out of spec (i.e. 1.0 +- .02)?
so I have 1000 feet of unusable cable. now what? do you make a bigger RJ45?

A:Hello George! Sorry, you are having trouble! If the conductors were 1.30mm, that would actually not even fit any keystone jack, much less an RJ45. That is large enough to be a 22AWG conductor. Do you mind checking the measurement of the conductors again? Even our largest RJ45 plug would not accept 1.30mm, nor would our tool-less keystone jacks designed for oversized insulation diameters. A:Hello! I am not sure if you are referring to mm or inches. I will assume mm. If your conductor insulation thickness is .50mm, then the conductor insulation diameter would be 1.00mm. These plugs would work for that. Be advised the plug will only accept up to 7.00mm cable jacket diameter, however.

A:These connectors do accommodate both stranded and solid conductors, but they are only suitable for 23AWG.
