I’ve done plenty of cat 6/5 terminations, and while I was initially skeptical about the pass through design, I found these work really well. A timesaver that significantly reduces accidental crossover of the wires.
I had never terminated ethernet cables until a couple of months ago. These pass-through connectors are great. The wires slide in easily, and their order can be verified by checking the ends that are sticking out. I get a little faster with each one I install.

My first cable ever is a winner
The existing hole through a brick and concrete wall provided barely enough space to fish a Cat5e cable without connectors, so I bought the Truecrimp tool along with pass-through connectors. I had never terminated an ethernet cable before, and assumed it would be a lot harder than it appears in videos. But working slowly and patiently I was able to get the job done in less than an hour, and the cable tested good. The Truecrimp tool is wonderful, and the pass-through connectors make getting the individual wires through and verifying their positions fairly easy for a novice. If you're an amateur who's afraid to attempt this task, order these items from Truecable and fear no more.

A:Our unshielded pass through connectors will work with tools from Klein and most other manufacturers, as long as the tool is designed for pass-through operation. Our shielded connectors work best with our version of the crimp tool.
