Snap-in Organization for your Ethernet & A/V Cable Toolless keystone patch panels provide a way to properly terminate and organize your structured cabling into a single place, greatly reducing cable clutter and even increasing performance. Professional installers don’t use Ethernet patch cords to wire up a home or business. The pros terminate solid copper Ethernet cable from patch panels to keystone jacks for maximum performance and reliability, and use patch cords to complete the installation. This installation type is known as rack-to-jack or as a structured cabling system.
Tool-less keystone patch panels are also used to organize and collate fiber optic, USB, HDMI, RCA, BNC, coaxial cable, and more. As long as the keystone in question is industry standard you can snap it in and use it.
Maximum Flexibility and Durability
Tool-less keystone patch panels are not Category rated, thus you may use any Category keystone and Ethernet cable type you wish (within certain limits). Shielded toolless patch panels add even more flexibility by removing yet another limit--they allow for a fully shielded installation (assuming proper bond to ground) and also the use of unshielded cable and hardware. Mix and match shielded and unshielded as required.
Traditional “monolithic” punch-down patch panels are Category rated as they already include the necessary PCB (printed circuit board) to achieve the stated Category performance. 110-punch-down patch panels rated for Cat5e will always be Cat5e. You won’t get it to perform to Cat6A performance levels unless you replace the entire panel. Also, if one port fails, this may necessitate the replacement of the entire patch panel!
With toolless keystone patch panels, simply snap in your keystones and upgrade at your own pace. If a keystone fails, replace it and move on with hardly any hassle.
Quality Guaranteed UL Listed, TAA compliant, and RoHS compliant.
Tested in the Real World by Real Installers
